NSWALC ANNUAL AUDIT 2011

The New South Wales Auditor General's Report on the financial statement of NSWALC in 2011 has resulted in an unmodified audit opinion.

The New South Wales Auditor General prepares a audit report every financial year, which focuses on the financial situation of the NSW land council network.

The report provides detailed analysis, advice and recommendations to NSWALC on its financial standing and future economic endeavors.

This year's report (from the year ended June 30, 2011) focuses on NSWALC's key interest areas including the following:

  •  Rural properties
  • Local Aboriginal Land Council's performance (network sustainability)
  • Outstanding land claims
  • Statutory Investment Fund
  • Water and Sewerage program
  • Education Endowment Fund
  • Grants
  • Tracker Magazine
