NSWALC is the principal advocate on issues affecting Aboriginal people in New South Wales. As the State's peak body we take advice from the Aboriginal community and present an Aboriginal perspective on a wide and growing range of issues.

As the peak representative body, NSWALC has the responsibility to pursue cultural, social and economic independence for Aboriginal people. NSWALC is the State's principal advocate of issues affecting Aboriginal people throughout the State.
