CHERISH THE CHILDREN

At the State-wide Conference in March 2009, NSWALC publically launched a new public awareness poster campaign aimed at protecting Aboriginal Children.

The 'Cherish the Children' poster was officially launched by NSWALC Chairperson Bev Manton.

"We simply want to emphasis what in our hearts we all know - our children are our future. As the poster says - Cherish Them," she said.

"This is a message we want everyone to appreciate," she added.

The 'Cherish the Children' poster compliments NSWALC's "We're Watching You" initiative between the NSW Police Force, Crime Stoppers to encourage reports of sexual exploitation of Aboriginal children along major roadways in regional and rural locations.
